Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:

What happened on The Young and the Restless

The Young and the Restless could have ended its Friday episode today on a lot of different beats. There was Audra's (Zuleyka Silver) dismay after flashing back to what went down in Los Angeles with Holden (Nathan Owens), and also, her spat with Lily (Christel Khail) that her ex, Nate (Sean Dominic), walked in on. Also, Sienna (Tamara Braun) has decided to remain in Genoa City and in Noah's (Lucas Adams) life, much to the subtle chagrin of his parents, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow). Instead, Y&R chilled us to the bone by showing that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) has brazenly returned to Genoa City, presumably to seek revenge against the Newmans and Sienna. "Forgot how much I hate this place," Matt snarked as he looked around with nothing but pained disdain on his face. The director of the episode did a fantastic job of going in for a close-up of Matt, who is also known as Mitch. Ending the episode with Matt being back in town was a throwback to classic cliffhangers of the past. Viewers are going to wonder all weekend what his next move will be and how he'll execute his plan to get back at his estranged wife, Noah, and his parents! Tune in on Monday!
