Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P for Monday, October 13th:

Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Tell me you noticed how Leslie was looking at June the whole time she was fawning over Dr. Ted Richardson? And oh my, the daggers, if looks could kill, poor June would be leaving Tyrell and Samantha's lives again! Is this where things are going, though? Ted is being compassionate to June and also enjoying the presence of one woman in Fairmont Crest, who doesn’t hate him and wants to lead the procession of pitchforks and torches. Maybe we are being set up for the slow burn of a relationship between Ted and June?

It wouldn't be like any other relationship he’s been in. It could be June’s Cinderella story. Whereas Leslie used her powers for evil and became the Wicked Witch of the Crest, June could be more of a Glinda ( or is it Guh-linda?) June would be appreciative and full of gratitude for her new life; she wouldn’t be hateful or vengeful, and she would most certainly be able to spoil Tyrell and Samantha. It may also convince Martin and Smitty to look at her differently. Everyone benefits from this, except Leslie, but soap villains need an outlet for their hate, and it would be a nice reprieve from the constant sparring with Anita and Vernon.
