The Endless are seven great entities in The Sandman, each symbolizing a fundamental aspect of life: Destiny, Death, Dream, Destruction, Desire, Despair, and Delirium. They are siblings that feature throughout the series as a dynamic, frequently troubled family.

Each has a domain and a sign that they use to communicate with one another. Dream, sometimes known as Morpheus, is the primary character. The plot of the series revolves around his long captivity, escape, and journey to recreate his kingdom, the Dreaming. The Netflix series adapts Neil Gaiman's original comic while remaining loyal to its themes of fantasy, passion, and the power of storytelling.

In a recent Netflix interview, The Sandman cast discussed who the most powerful Endless is. The answers varied—some chose Destiny for his control over fate, while others chose Destruction for his physically strength. All cast members reflected on each sibling's distinct and considerable strength.

The Sandman cast was recently asked a significant question in a Netflix interview: who is the most powerful Endless character? Each actors' response was distinct, illustrating the characters' nuances and individual skills.

Donna Preston (Despair), acknowledged that making a decision was difficult. But she exclaimed:

"We are all strong."

She hinted that maybe Desire or Death could be the stronger. Tom Sturridge said that Dream's ability to control the unconscious mind reaches a person's innermost being, giving him immense power of his own.

Some cast members identified Destiny as the most powerful. They stated that Destiny knows everything—past, present, and future—and leads all lives down the routes outlined in his book. His mastery over fate made him appear like an obvious option for many, as Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Death) stated:

"The idea of Destiny is something that is immovable. And nothing you can do can alter that path. That is a very powerful idea."

The topic of Destruction also came up. The characters mentioned that although he left his job a long time ago, he still has the power to go through time and space and create or destroy anything. Barry Sloane (Destruction) identified Destruction to be the most powerful physically.

Delirium and Desire were described as dangerous and erratic. According to the cast members, Desire can influence people's decisions and make them crave things they never would have thought possible. Delirium, formerly known as Delight, was thought to be the most erratic and arguably the most terrifying since no one could predict what she would do next. According to some actors, Delirium's instability gives her unique strength that others might not see.

Ultimately, The Sandman actors were unable to settle on a single response. Rather, they highlighted the unique strength of each Endless. Tom Sturridge summed up by saying that the Endless:

"Represent love because what is love if not dreaming, despairing, desiring, destiny, delirium, destruction and obviously death. They're only stronger together because nothing is as strong as love."
