Watson Season 2 is definitely something to make the viewers eagerly anticipate the next episode. The ending of episode 10 created a distinct intrigue. This is mainly because of the huge cliffhanger. However, viewers will have to wait for quite a long time for the next episode of this medical drama, which is combined with mystery. Episode 11 of Watson Season 2 will drop on March 1, next year, at 10 PM ET.

The cast definitely plays a vital role in bringing a distinct layer of realism to the storyline, which is rare to find. Morris Chestnut’s performance as Watson is undeniable. He always brings forth a layer of authenticity with every project he takes on. This medical drama is definitely the perfect example of Morris Chestnut’s acting prowess.

In episode 10 of Watson Season 2, Watson is faced with a challenge about genetic mutations. His friend, Hobie, calls him after his girlfriend falls unconscious. He had injected her with a genetically mutating substance. After injecting her, things did not turn out the way he wanted them to. Hobie’s girlfriend, Wendy, is then taken to the hospital.

Watson begins to dive deeper into the case. He also faces quite a lot of trouble after Sherlock reappears. Sherlock’s symptoms begin to worry Watson. He understands that Sherlock needs medical help. Things definitely take a turn when it is revealed that Wendy’s symptoms are due to an allergy to a past genetic mutation that she went through.

She did not reveal the truth to Hobie, as she wanted the genetic injection that Hobie gave her to be the first. Watson is finally able to bring Wendy into a stable condition with his in-depth medical knowledge. Both Wendy and Hobie are extremely happy that Wendy is no longer in danger of losing her life. However, their challenge is yet to be over. Hobbie arrives in Wendy’s hospital room to celebrate.

Wendy’s condition begins to deteriorate right away. This is because Wendy is also allergic to Hobie's genetic mutations. Watson informs Hobie that he should stay away from Wendy to protect her. Hobie is completely devastated that he will have to lose the person he loves. Hobie knows that reversing the genetic mutation he had done to his body could be life-threatening.

Yet, he reverses his genetic mutations. He does so because he wants to be close to Wendy. On the other hand, Watson finally makes Sherlock go to the hospital to get treatment. Sherlock does not follow Watson's advice and runs away.

Episode 10 of Watson Season 2 ends with Hobie telling Watson that he should not waste time and confess his feelings to Laila. In the previous episode, Watson got close to Laila’s son, Micah, after he fixed his addiction to the chatbot. So, viewers were definitely expecting him to confess to the love he felt for her.

However, at the end of the episode, instead of going to Laila, Watson goes to Mary. He runs to her and opens the door to the conference room where Laila is present. He sees her kissing another man. Episode 10 of this season ends with a huge cliffhanger, making us wonder about Watson’s true intentions with Mary and Laila. This will be further explored in episode 11 of this season.
