In a YouTube video, Mayim Bialik, who played Amy Fowler in The Big Bang Theory, shared some behind-the-scenes moments from The Big Bang Theory finale sets. In the video, Mayim gives us a tour of the sets and shows the viewers a clip of the audience seats, as she says,
"These are the stairs that lead to the audience that make our show what it is. We are one of the last shows to film in front of a live studio audience."
The Big Bang Theory cast thanks the fans in the audience on the last day of filming
On the last day of filming of The Big Bang Theory, the cast appeared teary-eyed and bid an emotional farewell to the series that they had been a part of for over a decade. As per a clip posted by Galecki on Instagram, among the live audience was a few groups that reached the location the previous night so as not to miss the event. Several fans opened up about how the series helped them during their low times. However, Kaley Cuoco revealed to E! News that the finale episode was shot beforehand because it was too emotional for the cast, but to get that live audience experience, they ran the finale tape on the last day.
Addressing the audience in the studio, Johnny Galecki added (via Variety),
"Please allow us to thank you. You've been the best fans for 12 years. You're part of the family."
