With Lizzie's death, Agent Dale and Marcus officially disbanded Tom's team and announced an internal investigation for all the members. With Robbie dead, Tom has one last mission for the finale: to prove that Anthony Grasso is the mole. Task Episode 7 will air on HBO on October 19.

What can you expect from the Task finale?
The official synopsis for Episode 7 reads as follows:
In the wake of the showdown, the now-disbanded Task Force members continue to seek answers. As the Dark Hearts mobilize to cover their tracks, a shocking revelation leads them to a final confrontation.
HBO Max has unveiled a short preview for the finale, which has fans buzzing with theories. Since the crime show was marketed as a limited series, we believe that the finale will answer all the burning questions and will tie up all the loose plot points neatly.
While Episode 6 was a violent and bloody outing for Robbie and Tom's team, the upcoming episode's preview suggests that the final hour will be quiet but intense. The preview starts with Tom saying:
''We have to speak the truth. Even when we're afraid it's gonna upset others.''
This ominous voice-over can be applied to Anthony Grasso, the mole who leaked confidential information to Jayson and the Dark Hearts, which indirectly led to Lizzie's death in Episode 6. While Lizzie's death had a profound impact on Grasso, and it looked like he would finally come clean about his connection with the gangsters, anything can go down in the finale.
While Tom will advance to close in on the mole, it looks like Anthony's past is finally catching up to him as he declares, 'I can't live with it no more.' All eyes will be on Grasso and his ultimate decision in the finale.
Elsewhere, after Robbie's cheeky gift for Jayson and Perry in Episode 6, they will be after the late thief's money. With Robbie gone, Maeve and his children are in more danger than ever, and it remains to be seen what lengths Jayson will go to to get his hands on Robbie's cash.
Tune in to the Task finale on October 19, 2025.
