One of the skits, titled, Cold Open featured James Austin Johnson and Ashley Padilla, along with Chloe Fineman. The episode also saw many comedy sketches featuring Bowen Yang, Ben Marshall, Mikey Day, Kenan Thompson, Marcello Hernandez, and more.

One of the promos featured Josh O'Connor, Lily Allen, and a fellow artist, Andrew Dismukes.

"Hi, I'm Josh O'Connor and I'll be hosting SNL this week with Lily Allen," said Josh.

Listening to him, Andrew asked about his accent. He guessed whether it was Slovenian. His second guess was Egyptian. His third guess was Na'vi. Josh told him it was "colder" than that. So, he guessed, Elvish.

"Closer, actually," responded Josh.

Lily intervened and told Andrew that Josh was "obviously British."

"Ah! And for the lady, do I detect a bit of Jamaican, mon?" asked Andrew.

With these interruptions, Josh started the intro part once again. This time, Andrew said that he was excited to have them both on the show. He wanted to welcome the two with a little holiday cheer. He handed them both gifts; Josh got a lint roller, while Lily got a deodorant.

He added that it was a special time of the year, so he felt like giving gifts to them. Seeing such odd gifts, they asked him about it. Lily asked about the "used deodorant." The reason that Andrew shared was that those were the items he had in his dressing room.

For the third time, Josh started the introduction part. This time, Andrew noted that it had been a "real British show" for the week with all the British artists participating.

"More English than British, really," replied Lily.

However, Andrew asked her about the difference between the two. Josh explained to him in a fast-forward segment, and then he talked about the Statute of Westminster. Lily added that it was from 1931.

"Which brings us to the Stuatue of Westminster (1931) which established Commonwealth dominions as independently governed entities," shared Josh.

Listening to that, Andrew asked about Wales, and that's when the intro ended.

In another segment, Dakota Johnson also played a surprise part. She arrived as Madeline during one of the performances that Lily delivered.

The musical performance saw Lily behind a screen as she sang the song about a mistress. Dakota Johnson was also part of the performance as she sang the spoken words of the song. During the performance, Lily noted that she and her "significant other" had an arrangement, which was to be:

"Be discreet and don’t be blatant. And there had to be payment. It had to be with strangers. But you’re not a stranger, Madeline," said Lily Allen.

The latest episode also saw many other hilarious skits featuring various SNL artists.
