What can you expect from Power Book IV: Force Season 3?

Power Book IV: Force Season 3 will mark the closing chapter in Tommy's quest to take over the drug business in Chicago and become the ultimate kingpin. The upcoming chapter will continue to explore the protagonist's efforts to get rid of the feds on his back and the various street gangs rising to take him down.

In addition, Miguel’s growing power will pose a threat to his leadership, and he must poach customers to sustain his position in Chicago's drug scene. Season 3 will be an explosive ride as Tommy must balance his tumultuous personal life while navigating the internal and external forces that might threaten his position and business in Chicago.

While Power Book IV: Force Season 3 will mark an end in Tommy's journey for now, the Power franchise is expanding with two new spin-offs, Power: Legacy and Power: Origins.

Helmed by Gary Lennon and Kendra Chapman, Legacy is expected to open the writer's room soon and will follow Tommy and Tariq St. Patrick's characters in the present timeline. Sikora and Michael Rainey Jr. will reprise their respective characters for the spin-off.

In addition, a prequel series, Power: Origins, was also announced. Set after the events of Power Book III: Raising Kanan, the series will follow the adventures of Tommy and Ghost.

While announcing the final chapter of Power Book IV: Force, Sikora teased a bright future for the franchise in an Instagram post:

"When Gary Lennon and the other writers and I were mapping out our third season, we saw that we were telling a complete story and that this was the perfect opportunity to stay true to our artistic vision and make this the final chapter in Tommy's journey in Chicago.''

He added:

"But don't worry. Tommy's journey is far from over with. We're just getting warmed up, and I can't wait to show you what we have planned next...Because ghosts never die, and power never ends."
