Then, episode 8, titled “Cuckoo Chicks,” takes the viewer to new heights. Mabel goes undercover during an exclusive “ladies’ night” event connected to Camila’s network. At the same time, Charles and Oliver find themselves in a hilariously awkward couples therapy session that unexpectedly helps them uncover more clues. The group soon learns that their investigation has drawn the attention of the Caputo crime family, linking their murders and the property deals into a single dangerous threat.

As the episode nears its end, the trio faces two significant problems: Arconia's ownership may be slipping away, and they’re now in direct conflict with powerful criminal forces. The closing scenes reveal that the murders are part of a deep, orchestrated cover-up, and unless the trio can expose it in time. This would put both their building and their lives in danger.
