Netflix’s new K-drama, Oh My Ghost Clients, premiered on May 30, 2025, while also airing biweekly on the MBC network in South Korea. The K-drama narrates the story of Na Mu-jin, played by Hospital Playlist’s Jung Kyoung-Ho. He is a labor attorney who resorts to earning money by scamming businesses, until he becomes the attorney for wandering ghosts.

In episode 1, Mu-jin meets Bo-sal during an accident in a steel factory. Bo-sal offers his job to Mu-jin, who signs a contract in haste that will officially make him the attorney for the ghosts.

In episode 2 Oh My Ghost Clients, he meets his first ghost client who used to work in the factory he was visiting. The young ghost client, Lee Min-uk (Park Soo-oh) used to work in Taehyeop Steel in Gyeonggi-do and died, which was reported as an accident, but that might not be the truth.

While initially reluctant to accept that he could see and talk to ghosts, Mu-jin later solves Min-uk’s case with the help of his companions: his sister-in-law, Na Hee-joo (Seol In-ah), and a conspiracy theory-loving young man, Go Gyeon-woo (Cha Hak-Yeon).

Here’s what happened in Oh My Ghost Clients Episode 2.

Oh My Ghost Clients Episode 2 recap: Mu-jin’s first meeting with Min-uk

After the fatal accident in the factory, which left Mu-jin shaken up, he is taken to the hospital by Hee-joo and Gyeon-woo. However, the ride to the hospital becomes scary for Mu-jin when he finds a companion by his side that the other two in the car cannot see.

He checks in with the doctor and also a Korean medicine practitioner, where he encounters the ghost again. But the ghost doesn’t speak to him until the next day in his office, when, after being prompted by Hee-joo, Mu-jin asks the ghost about his identity. Through Mu-jin’s vision, we are shown what had happened to the young boy in the factory, which leaves Mu-jin stunned.

Later in Oh My Ghost Clients, they meet with a reporter to learn more about the case, and also the teacher who had sent Min-uk to work in the factory, who seemed rather dismissive and ignorant of what had happened to Min-uk. While depicting serious subjects like this, Oh My Ghost Clients still manages to put comic elements into the episode, turning it into a dark comedy.

They finally get in touch with Min-uk’s mother, who had accepted his death and was just counting her days to end, so that she could meet her husband and son in the afterlife. However, Gyeon-woo’s weighty question catches her off guard. He asks her what she will tell Min-uk when she meets him. If she helps them, she might later tell Min-uk how she helped in bringing justice to him and saving other people from going through what he had gone through.

Although they received the case files of Min-uk’s death, but were facing difficulty in finding any fault in the details until Mu-jin noticed Min-uk, a young student, worked during the late hours of the night, where he died late at night. However, they didn’t have any legitimate evidence to support the case, and hence, Gyeon-woo was sent to the factory undercover.

Oh My Ghost Clients Episode 2 recap: A surprising piece of evidence helps in getting the factory officials arrested

While undercover, Gyeon-woo tries to record anything that could help them by placing a smartphone in his shirt pocket. While not a confession, he manages to record how the factory was run with minimum safety protocols, which could hamper any of the workers' lives.

He later tries to talk to Nimal, played by Squid Game’s Anupam Tripathi, who was Min-uk’s roommate and only friend. Nimal knows Gyeon-woo was recording everything and tries to avoid being around him. However, Gyeon-woo doesn’t give up and gives him Min-uk’s diary, which was filled with Nimal’s sketches and his wish to one day visit Nimal’s hometown in Sri Lanka.

But Gyeon-woo’s cover does not hold for long as one of the workers reveals that he was one of the three people who came to scam them previously, which results in everyone trying to catch Gyeon-woo before he runs away. The police are called to stop Gyeon-woo from running away, but Mu-jin and Hee-joo reveal about Min-uk’s death in front of the police, but they don’t have any evidence to prove that until Nimal finally speaks up.

He reveals that Min-uk was alive, and he could have been saved, but the factory manager and the director let him die. He then shows the footage they recorded, proving Min-uk was called to work late at night by the director, and he also recorded when Min-uk was stuck in the machine, but they didn’t call for any help to save Min-uk’s life.

After Nimal’s evidence and the director punching Gyeon-woo, they were all arrested and were found responsible for Min-uk's death, and for not following safety protocols in the factory. Min-uk finally leaves Earth after seeing his mother for the last time, but Mu-jin’s problems might not end here. In the end, as we see him being happy about not seeing any ghosts, he is just about to be involved in another accident, resulting in another case in Oh My Ghost Clients.
