Nice to Not Meet You Episode 11 recap: Hyeon-Jun finally confesses his feelings to Jeong-Sin

In Episode 11 of Nice to Not Meet You, we see Hyeon-Jun madly in love but emotionally paralysed, while Jeong-sin quietly confronts her feelings. For the first time, she has a dream about being married in Hyeon-Jun's house. This suggests some change of feelings within her or the way she views him.

However, the show takes the viewers through the ups and downs of Hyeon-Jun's anxiety about Jeong-sin knowing the truth. Worried about keeping Byeong-Gi's face hidden from her, he still makes efforts to conceal the truth and buy some more time. By the end of the episode, Jeong-Sin is about to meet the buyer of her rice cooker she is selling, and suddenly, Hyun-jun appears holding her umbrella, revealing that he is the Drama Craftsmen she was talking to. He explains that she once asked him if he liked her, and now he is openly ready to confess that he does.

Episode 11 of Nice to Not Meet You opens with Hyeon-jun and Hwa-young tagging along with Jeong-sin and Jae-hyung under the guise of lunch. Hwa-young had agreed to help Hyeon-jun confess his feelings so that she could move ahead with her feelings for Jae-hyung. On the table, Hyeon-jun helps Jeong-sin with the glasses and also tells her about the significance of the flowers, used as decoration on their table. The conversation eventually shifts to the Onion app, and Jeong-sin is surprised to know that Hwa-yeong also uses it.

When they leave the cafe, Jae-Hyeong offers to drive Joeng-Sin, but Hwa-yeong decides to take the car, saying that she has some work. Hyeon-jun ends up taking Joeng-sin with him. In the car, when Hyeon-jun complains about how interested Jae-hyeong seems in her, Jeong-sin scolds him, which makes him further think that maybe Jae-hyeong has already confessed to her. Jeong-sin reveals that she loves someone else and has not forgotten him.

Hyeon-jun is waiting outside Byeong-gi's studio and meets him. Hyeon-jun then asks Byeong-Gi to make Kang-Pil-Gu a villain in the show. In this conversation, Byeong-gi mentions the press conference that is approaching. This alerts Hyeon-jun as the conference would reveal Byeong-gi's face to Jeong-sin, the man she had connected with on the Onion app.

Hyeon-jun and Byeong-gi visit Ji-Sun at King’s Back Entertainment to discuss the upcoming production conference. Ji-sun suggests holding the conference online, which Hyeon-jun immediately likes. Byeong-gi, however, points out that even an online event would still reveal his face. Hyeon-jun pleads with the director to continue being hidden for the sake of his love.

Here is how Nice to Not Meet You episode 11 ends

In Nice to Not Meet You Episode 11, Jeong-sin dreams about getting married at Hyeon-jun's house, and even though the scene is subtle but it reveals information about her subconscious associating Hyeon-Jun with intimacy. That evening, Jeong-sin meets Jae-hyeong at a café to return his umbrella. She kindly but firmly turns down his romantic feelings, telling him to reflect upon what exactly he wants.

The following day, Jeong-Sin attends the “Good Detective Kang Pil-Gu” Season 5 press conference, taking pictures of the poster. Hyeon-jun is anxious about her presence and him getting exposed. However, Byeong-gi falls ill and decides not to attend the press conference. Hyeon-jun appears with Se-na and reveals that there is going to be a love story in the new season. Jeong-sin remains uninterested in the romance plot and digs into how Hyeon-jun will play his evil character.

By the end of the episode of Nice to Not Meet You, Hyeon-jun returns to the Onion app with a more elaborate plan to make Jeong-sin fall for him. He sees that she is selling her rice cooker, and he agrees to buy it. When Jeong-sin keeps waiting for him at the station, Hyeon-jun abruptly appears, holding her umbrella in the rain. He confesses his feelings for her while also revealing his true identity.
