Netflix's staple Holiday-themed Norwegian series is finally back with another season! Home for Christmas Season 3 will begin streaming on Netflix on December 12. While the series released two consecutive seasons in 2019 and 2020, Ida Elise Broch's Johanne and her many love interests are returning with a new season after five whole years.

Like the previous two seasons, Season 3 of Home for Christmas will consist of six episodes, which will be dropped simultaneously on Netflix on December 12.

The official synopsis for Season 3 of Home for Christmas reads as follows:

''Johanne is now 35. Months have passed since her breakup with Jonas...As she throws herself back into the dating scene, she starts to realize it’s not quite the same as it used to be. Or is it Johanne who has changed? The breakup with Jonas was tough, and bubbling beneath the surface lies the big question: Will she dare to love again?''

While Netflix's Norwegian rom-com series is returning after a gap of five years, Johanne is still reeling from the fallout of her breakup with Jonas from Season 2. As Johanne takes a leadership position at work and helps her siblings take care of their ailing father, Johanne pushes herself back into the dating scene. However, finding a loyal and compatible partner is not easy and Johanne will soon learn the downsides of dating in a modern world.
