“Enjoyed the most because it has the most heaviness”: Garcia-Rulfo breaks down why The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 hits harder than ever 

Fans of The Lincoln Lawyer are in for a gut-wrenching ride in Season 4, if star Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is to be believed. In a recent appearance on Variety's Just for Variety podcast, the actor, who plays charismatic defence attorney Mickey Haller, teased what could be the darkest, most emotional chapter in the Netflix series yet.

Garcia-Rulfo, without revealing any plot details, made one thing crystal clear—"it's going to be an emotional season." Along with this, he praises the writing of the new season:

"I told the showrunners, even reading them before we started shooting. [This season] is the one that I've enjoyed the most."

The actor added the following:

That moment completely transformed the tone of the show from a victorious one to something more tragic, with Mickey getting caught when he was on the verge of experiencing his first vacation in years.

The show's star, Garcia-Rulfo, while referring to the shocking incident, expressed that Season 4 will deal with the fallout and is going to be emotional—especially for fans familiar with Michael Connelly’s novel The Law of Innocence—the book Season 4 is adapting. He said:

"It's the most emotional season—heavy emotion—because of how we found him. "

As mentioned, he praised the writing of the show's Season 4 and asserts that this new season would be the one he’d enjoy the most. In Season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer, Mickey will have to defend himself against murder charges. Garcia-Rulfo's dialogue becomes most relevant here:
