Gina then gets completely engrossed in helping the patient out of the situation. She asks Amy to look for one of her past patients who was also a victim of domestic violence. She knew this patient could help Kim with her situation. In the flashback scenes, it is revealed that Gina blames herself for not helping her own sister.

Her sister was also suffering because of her abusive husband. Gina does not want to repeat her past mistakes. This episode in Doc Season 2 perfectly captures Gina’s struggle to help her patient reach safety and even puts her in danger. Amy also goes through difficulties because of Hannah’s incessant manipulation. Hannah tampers with Amy’s work, which leads to her being questioned.

At the end of the episode, because of her mistakes, which she did not actually make, but it seemed so because of Hannah’s involvement, Joan makes Amy go to a doctor to get herself checked and prevents her from practicing.
