The Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2026 was announced on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in a press conference held at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles.

According to a report in Parade, the list includes 35 top celebrities from the film, television, music, and sports entertainment industry who will be receiving stars. The list consisted of names such as Rachel McAdams, Miley Cyrus, Timothée Chalamet, Rami Malek, Gordan Ramsey, Emily Blunt, Shaquille O’Neal, among others.

The Instagram account of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce shared the news along with the list of honorees, which became a key moment for the fans across the world. The Hollywood Walk of Fame list includes Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, who has made history by becoming the first Indian celebrity to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has unveiled the highly anticipated Class of 2026 for the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Eugenio Derbez and Richard Blade announced the list during the press conference at Ovation Hollywood on July 02, 2025, in Hollywood, California.

There is a total of 14 honorees in the list for 2026, under the Motion Picture category, 9 under Television, 9 under the recording (music) category, 2 under Live performance, and 1 under the Sports Entertainment category.

Miley Cyrus took to her Instagram to share the exciting news with her fans. She wrote:

“Honored to be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. When I first came to LA from Nashville as a little girl, my family would stay at a hotel on Hollywood Blvd, and I would go on late night walks with my dad when no one would recognize him.”

She also added:

“To now be cemented on this legendary boulevard, surrounded by the icons who inspired me, feels like a dream. This moment will live forever, thank you to everyone in my life who made it possible. I am grateful to share this star with you.”

According to Billboard, the Hollywood Walk of Fame list included actors who were known for their Oscar-nominated roles, for example – Timothée Chalamet was nominated in the Oscars for portraying the role Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, Rami Malek played Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, for which he won an Oscar, Marion Cotillard won an Oscar for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in La Vie En Rose.
