On July 3, DJ Akademiks shared a video clip from a CNN exclusive interview featuring one of the jurors from Diddy's trial. In the video, the alternate juror, named George, spoke about the controversial "freak-off" videos that were shown during the trial. The original interview with Laura Coates and Sean Combs' juror aired on the CNN channel on July 3.

When asked about the freak-offs, he said:

"The defense and the prosecution showed different clips, so they were very selective, like the prosecution was showing more, you know, just Cassie just sitting around. The defense showed that."

On being asked if it seemed forced, the juror replied:

"It didn't seem forced. It was actually, like, pretty tame. It was just a lot of rubbing oil and stuff on there. It wasn't anything too, you know, graphic."

Jurors were reportedly shown clips from three freak-off videos, which were handed over to the police by Sean Combs' ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. These videos were kept confidential and not shared with the media or the public. The jury was given headphones to watch the footage privately during the trial.

Diddy's juror says sex trafficking was a difficult thing to prove

The nearly 18-minute video raised several questions, including one where the juror was asked if he was surprised when Diddy was not found guilty of sex trafficking in Cassie Ventura’s case.

To this, the juror said:

"It was a difficult thing to prove. And I think there was always some doubt, you know, whether…because, you know, I think what the judge says is that it has to be forced, and I think the defense did show some messages where didn't seem that it was forced."

As per the juror, both the videos and messages with Cassie Ventura seemed consensual, which led them to decide that it was mutual between the parties and not forced.

Talking about Jane, he added:

"I did believe her, at least on some parts. Some parts were a little bit… didn't add up as much, seemed a little strange."

Sean "Diddy" Combs has been found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He is found not guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering. His final sentencing is yet to be decided. Judge Subramanian has set a virtual meeting for July 8 to go over the pre-sentencing details.
