King Charles is allegedly considering inviting Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan for the upcoming Christmas celebrations, Radar Online reported. According to royal sources, the king's illness might be one of the reasons prompting him to take that step. King Charles was diagnosed with cancer last year and is currently undergoing treatment. He revealed that the treatment is going well and is planning to reduce the treatments in the coming months.

In terms of the Christmas invitations, a royal insider told Radar Online:

"An invitation to Prince Harry has not been completely ruled out if the king truly wants to spend time with his immediate family. There has always been a sense that the emotional door was never fully closed."

They continued to explain on a realistic note, saying:

"After such a turbulent year, particularly given the king's health and the continuing repercussions from dealing with Prince Andrew, it is understandable that Charles would want this Christmas to carry deeper meaning... And despite his positive cancer updates, he knows if things take a turn for the worse, it could be his last Christmas."

A few other royal sources have spoken about King Charles' upcoming Christmas celebrations. With his cancer diagnosis and ongoing treatments, many members have been wondering if this is going to be his last Christmas celebration where he feels healthy enough to participate.

One of the sources commented:

"There is a growing feeling that the king is being guided more by his own mortality than by royal protocol... Some believe this could be the last Christmas where he feels well enough to bring the whole family together, which is why there is quiet speculation he may attempt to draw Harry and Meghan back in, even if only for a short time."

Prince Harry spoke to the BBC and expressed that he would like to reconcile with his family, especially after King Charles' diagnosis. However, Prince Harry is still not on good terms with his older brother, Prince William.

According to one source, they revealed:

"The truth is that the strain between Prince William and Prince Harry has not been resolved."

On the other hand, another royal source believed that if the Sussexes were present, it might disrupt the whole intent of having a private family celebration for the royals. The source said:

"Having the Sussexes present would inevitably become a major distraction. Even a brief appearance would dominate headlines and risk overwhelming what is meant to be a private family celebration... The overriding fear is more controversy at the worst possible time. There is still deep unease about trust, and many within the family worry that private moments could once again become public."

Royal sources have shared that King Charles is allegedly considering inviting Prince Harry and Meghan for Christmas. The king's recent cancer diagnosis has made family time feel more meaningful. There is some hope that the king and his younger son could begin to mend their relationship. However, the ongoing tensions between Prince Harry and Prince William complicate the decision. Furthermore, the concerns regarding media attention are being considered.
