GTA 6 is the most talked-about game on the internet currently, with fans discussing its release. After Rockstar Games released its second trailer on May 6 and confirmed it was shot completely in-game on a PlayStation 5, fans are more curious about what the actual gaming experience is going to be like.

Amid all the talk, a GTA discussion account on X (formerly Twitter) called @TheGTAVerse shared a claim that a child appears in the trailer. The photo posted by the account showed the back of a small kid wearing a blue shirt, sitting next to adults. The screenshot is reportedly taken from the Grassrivers region of GTA 6.

If a child, in a confirmed case, is included in GTA 6, it would be a big change for the history of Rockstar Games, as the series has always avoided featuring kids due to its violent themes.

The internet reacts to speculation about a child spotted in a GTA 6 trailer scene

The post, uploaded by @TheGTAVerse, showing a kid, gained the attention of gaming lovers in no time, with users giving their own theories and opinions in the post. Let's have a look.

A user, @Trixxxy19, commented,

"Thats a dwarf buddy..."

Another user, @billyinohio, added,

"They already said kids will be in cutscenes but nothing playable"

Another user, @zebras_world, wrote,

"There are rumors I heard idk if they are true but that Lucia would have a kid or something like that idk"

One more user, @macjust123, posted,

"Everyone is surprised but don't realize kids were in RDR 2 and you couldn't harm them. Same thing here."

Another user, @RichAudiosASMR, wrote,

"This happens with literally every GTA trailer people think they see a kid, GTA 4, 5, 6, I think even San Andreas correct me if I'm wrong. Most you'll get is a cutscene with a kid in it tbh"

Another user, @RyanDior24, suggested,

"Or just a very short man I doubt they would add a kid to a game like GTA"

One more user, @SeriouslyDo_Not, commented,

"In early rumors weren’t Jason and Lucia supposed to have a kid?"

The clip has left fans confused and curious, with many building their own theories on whether Rockstar Games is planning to feature kids in their upcoming GTA 6.

While nothing is confirmed, it's unlikely children will be part of gameplay, as the studio would want to avoid controversy or the risk of in-game violence involving minors. With GTA returning after so many years and expectations running high, any misstep could lead to backlash and hurt the game's massive hype.

GTA 6 is scheduled to release on May 26, 2026. One can play the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S after its release.
