Why was Jack Doherty taken into custody? Exploring the Miami arrest charges

On November 15, TMZ reported that popular YouTuber and content creator Jack Doherty was arrested in Miami. Jack has been booked under three charges. He was admitted to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Centre shortly before 9 AM on three charges:

  • possession of a controlled substance
  • possession of marijuana
  • resisting arrest

According to reports, investigators discovered that the YouTuber was in possession of an amphetamine and close to 20 grams of weed. Amphetamine is a drug used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. The YouTuber has a $3,500 bond that he has failed to satisfy.

In 2017, Jack Doherty became well-known after his videos of himself flipping different things went viral. He has 15 million YouTube followers and over 13 million Instagram and TikTok followers.

Earlier, in April this year, Jack Doherty uploaded a video on his X page saying that he was robbed by attackers with guns. He said that they took two of his diamond chains, valued at $300,000. The incident occurred in Los Angeles, and Jack posted the footage to his X and Instagram profiles on April 27.

The former Kick streamer was reportedly robbed near the Cheesecake Factory at N Beverly Drive and Brighton Way. He was spending time at Rodeo when four men with firearms emerged from the vehicle and attacked him. They then threw him down. He told cops that one of the robbers was chasing him down the street, attempting to steal his watch.

In related news, Jack recently wrote a letter to President Trump requesting a pardon for Sean Kingston.

Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, are facing prison sentences. They were charged with business fraud. However, several of his well-known friends are actively working to persuade President Donald Trump to grant them a pardon.

According to TMZ Hip Hop, Sean Kingston’s legal representatives submitted a pardon application, accompanied by letters from Jack Doherty, Soulja Boy, and Safaree, requesting a Presidential Pardon from the White House.

A legal representative for Sean confirmed the filing of the paperwork.
