In yet another bizarre post on Instagram, 50 Cent has congratulated Diddy on his win in his federal sex trafficking trial before comparing him to John Gotti.
In a post on Instagram, the seasoned rapper shared an AI-generated image of himself, smiling ear to ear, alongside the following contentious caption:
"Diddy beat the Rio, that boy a bad man ! 👏👏👏, he like the G*y John Gotti"
For the unversed, John Gotti was a mob boss who died in June 2002. He led the Gambino crime family, once regarded as the most powerful crime syndicate in the nation. Gotti, once considered the most dangerous crime boss, was also acquitted on racketeering charges in the 1980s. However, it was later revealed that the trials were rigged with jury tampering, witness intimidation, and more.

Diddy's sentencing has yet to take place, though he could be looking at up to two decades behind bars. He has been found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but was acquitted on three charges for sex trafficking and racketeering. The latter three would have sentenced him to life in prison had he been found guilty.
As for 50 Cent, Variety has reported that the rapper has been dissing the Bad Boy Records founder all through his trial, even mocking some of the witness testimonies.
When one of his alleged victims said she and the rapper referred to each other as “Bert” and “Ernie,” Fif shared a photo of the two characters from Sesame Street sporting lingerie. In another instance, per the outlet, when one of the witnesses claimed the rapper barged into her house and kidnapped her with a gun, 50 Cent took to his Instagram to mock him further:
“Cut, CUT. Wait a minute PUFFY’s got a gun, I can’t believe this I don’t feel safe. LOL," the rapper, who was famously shot at nine times back in 2000 in an incident in queens, penned.
The beef between the two can be traced back to over 20 years ago, when 50 Cent dropped his diss track, “The Bomb," in 2006. At the time, the rapper, born Curtis James Jackson III, accused Diddy of murdering his own friend, The Notorious B.I.G. The latter was signed to Diddy's record label at the time. However, there has been no evidence to corroborate 50 Cent's claims.
50 Cent is also reportedly dishing more thoughts on the case in a forthcoming Netflix docuseries co-produced by Alexandria Stapleton. According to E! News, shortly after Combs was arrested in September last year, the rapper said:
“This is a story with significant human impact. It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far. We remain steadfast in our commitment to give a voice to the voiceless and to present authentic and nuanced perspectives."
Later that day, he quipped on Instagram,
"This is a pretty good deal who’s idea was this LOL."
