Sean Combs, also known as P Diddy, legal team have complaints regarding the secrecy of some aspects of the trial, and they are making it known. Another former girlfriend of his, who remains anonymous and identifies herself with the pseudonym Jane Doe, has come forward and completed six days on the witness stand. She talked about her three-and-a-half-year abusive and violent relationship with the rapper.

In her testimony, another incident dating back to January 2024 has come to light, where Jane recalls how she ended up in a Las Vegas hotel suite after travelling on a private jet owned by another famous rapper. The famous rapper is not revealed, but is referred to as “an icon in the music industry” by P Diddy’s attorney, Teny Geragos.

The trip, which was to celebrate the rapper’s “girlfriend or wife’s” birthday, had taken a turn when a male escort that P Diddy used to hire for “hotel nights” - drug-fueled s*xual encounters involving multiple people - turned up, and she recognised him.

Jane further stated that he was already in the room when she arrived, participating in s*x acts, and then she was approached by the unnamed rapper, who was acting in a flirtatious manner. She clarified that she believed the rapper and his partner were trying to recruit her for more s*xual activity.

Jane was then questioned by Combs regarding her presence at the event, which was dubbed as one of his "freak offs."

“How could you go to another man’s freak-off?” he allegedly texted her “I can’t believe you went outside of us.”

P Diddy's legal team upset over not revealing details

There was a lot of back and forth behind the doors regarding the unveiling of the rapper and other members present at the event, which the prosecutors were heavily against; P Diddy, however, was not present for this discussion.

Defence attorney Marc Agnifilo then complained to U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian about the fact that the rap mogul was excluded from the meeting. While the prosecution believed that the defence's suggestion to use real names was "nothing more than a pretence to attempt to harass and intimidate" Combs' ex-girlfriend, the defence argued,

"Part of the reason that trials are fully public is so if other people realize they know something about an event discussed in a public courtroom they can come forward and share their recollection about it," Agnifilo stated. "And I think that is kind of the practical side of the constitutional right to a public trial; that it's public for a reason, and the facts are public for a reason, and the names are public for a reason. And that reason is so the public can do what the public does in all issues of importance, which is receive them, and if someone has something to add, that person can come forward and add whatever it is that person has to add."

Ultimately, the judge ruled against naming the rapper in court.
