A former personal assistant to Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is also known as “Puff” or “P Diddy,” gave testimony during the ongoing federal trial against the music executive on Thursday, May 29.
In her testimony, the assistant accused Combs of assaulting, r*ping, and ab*sing her. The assistant’s testimony comes on day 12 of the trial, where Combs is facing two charges of s*x trafficking, a racketeering conspiracy charge in addition to two charges of transportation to engage in pr*stitution, all of which he pleaded not guilty to.
The assistant, whose identity has been kept under wraps as per her wishes, was identified as “Mia,” as per Associated Press. Mia worked for Combs for a period of eight years, from 2009 to 2017, according to the news agency. BBC noted that the assistant testified that she was in her mid-20s when she began working for Diddy Combs.
To protect Mia’s identity, USA Today reported that those present in the court were given strict orders not to report or record any of Mia’s identifying features. While the trial is not being televised, even in courtroom sketches, only Mia’s silhouette has been drawn, leaving her face blank.

The only other witness who has given testimony that she was s*xually assaulted by Combs was the music magnate’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Mia has noted in her testimony that she was friends with Ventura, and has also detailed multiple incidents when Diddy Combs allegedly attacked the singer.
About Mia’s testimony in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial
During her testimony, Mia alleged that the Bad Boy Records founder frequently had violent outbursts and had generally created a harmful work environment. As per Associated Press, Mia stated,
“It was chaotic. It was toxic. It could be exciting. The highs were really high and the lows were really low.”
A report by the BBC noted that Mia alleged that she was once attacked by Sean "Diddy" Combs, who threw a bowl at her, which almost missed her head. During another incident, Mia claimed that Combs threw a computer at her head upon learning that the Wi-Fi wasn’t fixed.
Mia’s testimony against Combs included allegations such as an incident in 2009 when Combs violated her boundaries and put his hand under her dress and kissed her against her will during his 40th birthday bash, reported Associated Press.

The news agency also reported that Mia testified that Combs forced her to engage in oral s*x with him, and on another instance, he barged into her room as she slept in one of his guesthouses and r*ped her.
Mia also recounted an incident involving Cassie Ventura and her stylist Deonte Nash, both of whom had already referred to the incident in their testimony. Mia said during her testimony that she was present when Combs once attacked Ventura violently, leading to an injury to her head. As per BBC, Mia alleged that she thought at the time that Combs might “kill her,” and she jumped on his back, but Combs ended up ramming her against a wall.
Mia also addressed why she didn’t report any of Combs’ actions to the authorities. BBC reported that Mia said that she:
“...believed that Puff's authority was above the police…I knew his power. I knew his control over me and I didn't want to lose everything I worked so hard for.”
BBC notes that Mia, who was only questioned by the prosecution till now, will continue to testify on Friday, May 30, as well, when the defense is expected to question her.
