How is IShowSpeed involved in the UEFA Champions League final? YouTuber to train with PSG and Inter

IShowSpeed, also known as Darren Jason Watkins or Speed, a YouTuber and streamer, has been making waves on social media after he scheduled a broadcast on his YouTube channel, which said that he will be hosting an IRL broadcast attending the 2025 UEFA Champions League Final.

The title of the broadcast read:

''irl UCL WEEKEND🇩🇪! Playing with Legends + Training with PSG/Inter Milan ⚽️ (ft Micah & Jamie).''

Speed will be training with both teams, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Inter Milan, while hosting the IRL broadcast. Speed had begun his YouTube journey with gaming content in 2016, and in 2022, he focused on soccer-related content. He is well known among his fans as a big fan and supporter of the football player, Cristiano Ronaldo.

IShowSpeed to train with PSG and Inter Milan

Speed, best known for his gaming sessions, IRL content, and dramatic and energetic behavior, will be hosting an IRL broadcast over the weekend while training with PSG and Inter Milan, ahead of the UEFA Champions League Final.

As per the title of the scheduled broadcast, Speed will be joined by the former player and football analyst Jamie Carragher and the football pundit Micah Richards. The stream is scheduled to begin at 10:30 am on Friday, May 30, 2025.

IShowSpeed is a big-time soccer fan, and recently he had surprised his fans by having the president of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, on his stream. That stream was a promotional segment for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.

Earlier in March, IShowSpeed was featured on the CBS Sports Golazo's coverage of the UEFA Champions League, and a few days later, he participated in the 2025 Sidemen Charity Match, which was held at Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom.

Other than gaming, IShowSpeed also creates travel content. In March, he traveled to China and explored the country's culture, food, and touristy places, and live-streamed his journey for hours, which gained massive attention from his fans, subscribers, and even the Chinese embassy.

Speed has over 39 million subscribers on YouTube, had documented his travel to China which showed him doing back flips, playing tennis with Jackson Wang, trying various chinies delicasies, interacting with fans, learning Kung fu, visiting the Shaolin temple, and exploring the cities trains, and local parks. His stream had garnered over 10 million views.

IShowSpeed is one of the most well-known YouTubers and online streamers, and in 2024, he won the Most Influential Soccer Creator by the GOAL Champions Awards. He also won the Breakout Streamer and Variety Streamer Award in 2022 and 2023 by the Streamy Awards.
