Legendary Britpop band Oasis has officially announced a 30th anniversary reissue of their 1995 album, (What's the Story) Morning Glory?. The reissue is set to be released on October 3, 2025.
The deluxe edition will be available in multiple formats, including 3xLP, 2xCD, and digital versions. The reissue will bring back the original tracks with being remastered from 2014. It will also include five newly recorded unplugged versions of fan favourites.
Oasis' (What's the Story) Morning Glory? was originally released on October 2, 1995. It came 14 months after their debut album, Definitely Maybe. The record featured chart-topping hits like "Wonderwall," "Don't Look Back in Anger," and "Champagne Supernova."
It has since sold over 22 million copies worldwide, including 5.5 million in the United States, and is ranked as the third biggest-selling studio album of all time in the UK.
Oasis shared the deluxe edition announcement via an official Instagram post, which read:
"'(What's The Story) Morning Glory?' is 30 this year 💥 To celebrate, a deluxe 30th anniversary edition of the album will be released October 3rd! What's new in the 30th anniversary reissue?
Oasis' 30th anniversary edition of (What's the Story) Morning Glory? will include the original album, as remastered in 2014, and a second disc (or third LP). It will feature five brand new acoustic renditions of the band's tracks. These include stripped-down versions of:

These new recordings were produced and mixed by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho. The reworked version of Acquiesce has been released as a preview. A set of newly designed sleeve notes and cover photography by Brian Cannon will also be included.
Multiple limited-edition vinyl colour variants will also be released, including:
- Indie record store exclusive: "Cast No Shadow"-inspired, crystal clear 3LP
- HMV exclusive: "Morning Glory"-inspired blue marble 3LP
- Amazon exclusive: "Wonderwall"-inspired sepia marble 3LP
- Official Oasis store exclusive: "Acquiesce"-inspired neon orange 3LP
All these physical and digital versions will be available starting October 3, 2025, and pre-orders are open now via the official Oasis store and selected retailers.
