"I am not letting that ride": Papoose claps back at Remy Ma; reveals she cheated on him multiple times in marriage

Rapper Shamele Mackie, popularly known as Papoose, has reportedly clapped back at his former partner, Remy Ma. Mackie's reaction comes after Remy went live for 80 minutes on Instagram (@remyma) on May 22, 2025. She alleged that he has been unable to retain a lawyer and told her followers that he has her lawyer's information. She added that she isn't even asking for "child support", and she can take care of her child's expenses.

Papoose told his followers that he wouldn't typically "entertain" such comments and added,

"but the fact that you mentioned my children, I'm not letting that ride. Since this whole situation happened, everybody know I never said nothing."

He revealed he didn't want to "disrespect" her and would never open his mouth. He alleged she has cheated multiple times during their relationship and stated,

"I've caught her cheating numerous times since she's been home ..."

Papoose has accused Remy Ma of cheating "multiple times" during the marriage. He emphasised that Remy "lied" throughout the Instagram live and that she had been stopping him from meeting their daughter. He added,

"All men out there who have been through this type of situation, you know how it gets when you're dealing with a miserable individual. She did not allow me to see my daughter since this first transpired at the end of last year."

Following Remy Ma's live, Papoose shared images confirming that he had filed for a divorce. Followers wondered what stopped Mackie from filing for divorce since he had been separated from Remy for a long time.

Many noted that he only filed after Remy publicly called him out, and noticed that he only filed for divorce on May 22, 2025. He took to his Instagram and shared pictures of the filing and reportedly defended his actions. He wrote in the caption that he didn't file it "for the sake of their daughter." He added,

"When two individuals behave like civilized adults. You can get a divorce peacefully/privately. And that was my intentions. But when a person wants to be bitter, & clout chase. It turns into a circus. Which can lead to an embarrassment for my child."

He alleged that Remy "lied for an hour straight" and noted,

"But actions speak louder than lies. You just called me YESTERDAY trying to get back with me. And I said NO!"
