Chris Brown is reportedly set to continue his 'BreezyBowl' tour following his arrest and release from UK jail

Chris Brown is reportedly set to continue his 'BreezyBowl' tour following his arrest by a UK jail on May 15, 2025. The singer and co-defendant, Omololu Akinlolu, had reportedly been charged with "unprovoked attack" towards Abraham Diaw, which allegedly happened at the Tape Venue on February 19, 2023.

According to BBC News, Brown was initially refused bail following his arrest by the Southwark Crown Court. However, bail was subsequently granted on May 21, and he was asked to pay approximately "£4m immediately." Additionally, the Next To You singer was ordered to pay "£1m" within seven days. The fee would be considered security until the singer makes his appearance at the court as ordered by Judge Tony Baumgartner.

Judge Tony Baumgartner of the Southwark Crown Court has provided bail to Chris Brown and has allowed him to continue his tour, provided the singer will appear for his second hearing on June 20, 2025. According to ABC News, Brown and co-defendant Omololu Akinlolu's alleged attack was reportedly caught on the surveillance camera. The duo reportedly struck the music director, Abraham Diaw was struck multiple times with a bottle.

The singer celebrated his release with his fans on Instagram. According to Billboard, the singer had posted a now-deleted story on his Instagram captioned

"From cage to stage."

Additionally, he posted a picture of himself stepping outside a plane and captioned the photo as

"Cook, remain humble."

As confirmed by multiple news outlets, Brown and Omololu haven't entered a "plea" yet. This is not the first time the With You singer has been involved in legal matters involving alleged assaults. Similar cases have been filed against the rapper previously, most notably being physical assault against his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.


Chris Brown's recent arrest worried his fans and followers about whether he would receive bail following his arrest. However, the singer can kick off his tour on June 8 in Amsterdam. According to Billboard, his next court hearing is scheduled for June 20, between his shows on June 19 and June 21. The Grammy Award winner is scheduled to kick off his North American shows in July, many of which are already sold out.
