On July 3, 2025, BTS' Taehyung updated his Instagram bio and removed ‘Winter Ahead out now’ from his personal account. This update from Taehyung came shortly after he finished his military service. Kim Taehyung, aka V, dropped his single Winter Ahead on November 29, 2024. He collaborated with another South Korean musician, Park Hyo-shin, to make Winter Ahead.
Ever since its release, BTS' Taehyung’s solo song has broken many records as the top-charting jazz song across the world. V’s fans have been eagerly looking forward to the idol’s next projects following his military discharge on June 10, 2025. Therefore, the latest change in V’s Instagram bio drew his fans’ curiosity. As a result, his fans flooded the internet with their anticipation for BTS’ Taehyung’s new works. One of them on X wrote:

BTS' Taehyung was discharged on June 10
V recently garnered attention for yet another accomplishment. The Slow Dancing singer received the "Trend of June: K-POP SOLO Award" at the 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA). Kim Taehyung will also be awarded a real trophy for the most recent accolade.
The BTS idol received this accolade shortly after completing his military service. Tae was recently discharged from his mandatory training on June 10, alongside his bandmate RM.
Other BTS members, including Jungkook, SUGA, and Jimin, have also completed their individual military service to reunite as an ensemble. Jimin and Jungkook came out on June 11, while Agust D was discharged on June 21.
