Irish rock band Kodaline has officially announced their farewell tour for 2026. It will be the end of an era for one of Ireland's most successful contemporary acts. The group confirmed they are parting ways following the release of their fifth and final studio album. To give their fans a goodbye, the band will perform two farewell shows in Ireland, in Cork and Dublin.
The announcement comes after Kodaline posted a video on social media to confirm that they would be "heading into the studio one last time." The band consists of Steve Garrigan, Vincent May, Mark Prendergast, and Jason Boland. They talked about their 13-year journey.

Announcing their official split, band members stated:
"Hi Everyone, after over a decade together we have made the difficult decision to say goodbye to Kodaline. We know this might come as a surprise, and it is definitely bittersweet for us too. What we have shared with you has changed our lives forever. From busking on the streets of Dublin to selling out shows and arenas across the world, it really has been the stuff that dreams are made of."
They continued:
"We want to end on a high, so before we say goodbye, we are heading into the studio one last time, to record our fifth, and final album, as Kodaline. We are, and always will be, forever grateful for your love and support. It has been a journey that we will never forget and we hope the music stays with you long after we’re gone.To celebrate the final album and final chapter of Kodaline, we are going to play in Dublin and Cork next summer."
Band members concluded their statement, saying:
"We can't wait to see everyone. Thanks for all your support over the years, it has been an incredible journey. With all our love, Steve, Vinny, Mark & Jay"
They added that their final album will be "a way to end on a high." They are expected to celebrate everything they have achieved since forming in 2005, back when they were still known as '21 Demands'. The band first caught attention in 2007 when their debut single "Give Me a Minute" became the first independently released track to top the Irish Singles Chart.
After rebranding as Kodaline in 2012, they released their debut album In a Perfect World (2013), which featured hits like "High Hopes" and "All I Want." They also released three more albums: Coming Up for Air (2015), Politics of Living (2018), and One Day at a Time (2020).
