Rapper Bhad Bhabie appears to be in legal trouble after bank holding company American Express reportedly filed a lawsuit against her for unpaid debt. The court documents, viewed by People Magazine, mention that the exact figure she owes to Amex is $674,452.40.

The lawsuit was lodged at the Los Angeles County Superior Court on July 2, 2025. The company also noted that she was given credit in 2021. However, three years later, she stopped paying money. The company has pursued damages for the contract breach. According to a section of the filing:

“Plaintiff extended credit to Defendant for purchases and/or cash advances by Defendants and/or persons acting with Defendants’ permission on the American Express account XXXX‑XXXX‑X5000.”

It also mentioned:

“Defendant promised to repay Plaintiff for all charges, fees, and interest on the Account by paying the balance in full every month or by making monthly payments.”

Meanwhile, in a statement to The Shade Room, Bhad Bhabie denied the reports about being sued by the company. She said:

“Sh*t not true. Where do they get this sh*t from?”

As per Celebrity Net Worth, Bhad Bhabie has a net worth of $35 million. The news of the Amex lawsuit comes after she shared her OnlyF*ns earnings, which are a little less than $60 million. On June 30, 2025, Interview Magazine published an interview piece in which she shared her thoughts about OnlyF*ns, saying:

“A good way to make a lot of money really fast.”

What happened between Bhad Bhabie and Soulja Boy earlier this year?

In January 2025, rapper Soulja Boy threatened Bhad Bhabie with a lawsuit following the release of her new song Over Cooked. As per reports, she accused Boy and another rapper, Tyga, of having an affair with Alabama Barker. However, they denied the allegations. Taking to Instagram, Soulja Boy said the following about Bhabie:

“You ain’t no bad baby, you a cr*ck baby. I don’t care how much money you get, you a cr*ckhead deep down.”

He went on:

“I’m suing your ass, b***, and I want all of my money too. Defamation of character, you lied on my name to the internet. I want $10 million in cash.”

Alabama Barker also responded to the rumors, saying she had never been around Tyga, had never been knocked up, and didn’t even know Soulja Boy.

In an interview with Billboard in 2017, she was asked if she had to work harder to prove herself in music. Bhad Bhabie said that she always promised herself she wouldn’t be like others. She wanted to stand out, no matter what job she had or where she was in life.

She shared that whether she was working in a pet store or making hit songs, she always wanted to be her best. She also said she had always been well-known in her school and town, and people always knew who she was.

Bhad Bhabie also said she didn’t have big career plans yet. She just wanted to take things as they came and not force herself too much. The singer felt that anything could happen, so she might do even better than she expected, or she might not reach her goals at all.
