Who performed at 2025 AMAs? Complete list of performers at American Music Awards explored

The 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) were held this Monday in Las Vegas, and they brought together some of the biggest names in the industry.

The ceremony was hosted by Jennifer Lopez, who also delivered a dance performance. The largest fan-voted award show also saw Janet Jackson deliver a dance number before she accepted the Icon Award, which, according to CBS News, is given to

"an artist whose music has had undeniable cultural and global influence over the music industry."

List of American Music Awards (AMAs) performers:

Blake Shelton:

Shelton performed his new single, Stay Country or Die Tryin', with an American flag hoisted behind him. He was flanked by a massive band as well, and this marked the singer's AMA performance debut.

Gloria Estefan:

Estefan took to the stage to deliver a rendition of some of her massive hits over the years, including Rhythm Is Gonna Get You, La Vecina (No Sé Na), and her 1985 classic with Miami Sound Machine. This was her first performance in over 30 years.

Gwen Stefani:

Shortly after her partner, Shelton introduced her onstage, Stefani belted a rendition of Swallow My Tears from her latest country album, Boutique, before diving back into her renowned solo pop catalog. She also celebrated the 20th anniversary of her album Love. Angel. Music. Baby.

Reneé Rapp:

The up-and-coming songstress cum actress took to the stage to show off her Broadway skills as she debuted her latest single, Leave Me Alone, from her upcoming sophomore album.

Rod Stewart:

Stewart, who was also awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award that night, sang Forever Young at the ceremony. This marked the icon's first performance in over two decades.

Lainey Wilson:

Wilson offered a live rendition of Somewhere Over Laredo as she sported an all-white ensemble. Her performance comes ahead of the start of the U.S. leg of her Whirlwind World Tour.

Benson Boone:

The singer-songwriter showed off some major rock-star energy as he took to the stage to perform his new hit, Mystical Magical, ahead of his forthcoming American Heart.

Janet Jackson:

Jackson took to the stage for her first televised performance in seven years. Lopez introduced her on-stage, noting that the songstress set “the blueprint for how to be a strong female artist in this industry.” Jackson delivered renditions of singles from her 2001 album All For You: Someone to Call My Lover.

Alex Warren:

The singer-songwriter sang his hit smash, Ordinary, marking his award show performance at the AMAs' Monday night festivities.

Jennifer Lopez:

The veteran singer, who also doubled as the host for the night and a performer at the AMAs more than 10 times, sang several of her hits, including Dance Again, and a dance number set to Kendrick Lamar’s TV Off, Shaboozey’s A Bar Song (Tipsy), and Billie Eilish’s Birds of a Feather.


The night also saw presenters like Wayne Brady, Kai Cenat, Jordan Chiles, Ciara, and Cara Delevingne taking to the stage.
