Retired NFL star Kevin Faulk is currently mourning the loss of his daughter, Tanasha T. Faulk, who passed away on December 6 at the Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana. She was 30.Kevin Faulk, 49, shared his late daughter with his longtime wife, Latisha Clark Faulk. Not much is known about the mom of three, except that she hails from Carencro, Louisiana, and is based in Boston, Massachusetts. Tanasha’s official cause of death is undisclosed. Faulk was born on January 23, 1995, in Carencro, Louisiana. She spent all her life in her hometown and graduated from the Carencro High School in 2014.“Tanasha was known for her vibrant spirit, her deep devotion to those she loved, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. Family was the center of Tanasha’s world, especially her three daughters, who were the greatest blessings of her life. Being their mother brought her so much joy and she was immensely proud watching them grow and learn,” the obituary reads.Kevin Faulk’s late daughter has left behind three daughters of her own, Ava Shelvin, Jornell Zenon, and Jaida Louis, whom she shared with her partner Isaac Louis.“Tanasha also found joy in holidays, birthdays, family gatherings, and especially Mardi Gras. She loved to cook and was happiest when preparing meals that brought people together. Her generosity, laughter, and loving nature created a sense of home wherever she went,” it continues.Other survivors include her parents, brothers Tavion and Kevin III, sister Tionne Lewis, Tanasha’s maternal grandmother Gloria Clark, six uncles, three aunts, and three nephews.“Tanasha will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering love for her family, and the light she brought to all who knew her. He said that the team was “heartbroken” as Kevin was not only their old “teammate” but part of their “legacy.”“We care deeply about Kevin and his family and our thoughts and prayers are with him,” Vrebel said in a press conference, the video of which was posted on the Patriots official page on X.At the time of Kevione’s demise four years ago, the Louisiana State University paid tribute to the daughter of their alum, Kevin Faulk.
