Viral track Pretty Little Baby singer Connie Francis, 87, has a net worth of $25 million as per Celebrity Net Worth. As per her Facebook page, Francis was hospitalized in Florida on July 2. While the cause behind her hospitalization is not known, the singer, while speaking to People on May 22, revealed that a hip injury had temporarily landed her in a wheelchair.
Connie Francis gained recognition in the early-to-mid '50s after she appeared on the NBC variety show Startime Kids. She landed a contract with MGM Records and released a string of singles that reportedly did not do well commercially.
She recorded the singing for Tuesday Weld in the musical film Rock, Rock, Rock! and also sang for Freda Holloway in the musical Jamboree.
Francis made her career breakthrough in late 1957 with The Majesty of Love, a duet with Marvin Rainwater. However, post the release, Francis chose to pursue a career in medicine and almost accepted a four-year scholarship to NYU.
In 1958, her track Who's Sorry Now? blew up and reached number one in the UK and number four in the US. The singer rose to fame again in the 21st century after her 1960s hit song Pretty Little Baby resurfaced and was widely used as an audio track for TikTok and Instagram videos.
By early June, the track had racked up more than 10 billion views and had made it to no. 1 on both TikTok's Viral 50 and Top 50 charts.
