The New York Film Critics Circle Awards (NYFCC) announced its winners for this season. The awards were bagged by stars like Wagner Moura, Rose Byrne, and others across different categories. The awards were given in fourteen categories.

The widely loved animated film KPop Demon Hunters also won an award at New York Film Critics Circle Awards.

The New York Film Critics Circle Awards (NYFCC) was founded in 1935 by Wanda Hale. The circle is made up of critics coming from daily newspapers, weekly newspapers, periodicals, and online general-interest publications.

In December every year, the group of critics gathers in New York to vote on awards for the preceding calendar year's films. The awards are given in traditional categories of best director, film, actor, and actress.

In addition to this, the special stand-alone awards are given to individuals and organizations that have made contributions to the art of cinema, such as producers, directors, actors, writers, critics, historians, film restorers, and service organizations.

This year, the movies like One Battle After Another and The Secret Agent got more than one awards.
