Over the past few years, it has become clear as day that Travis Kelce will always be unapologetically himself and that he’s also very comfortable and at peace with who he is. On May 20, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end was in Florida getting a workout in with Detroit Lions tight end Ross Travis, as well as his friend and personal chef Kumar Ferguson.
After the training session, paparazzi were able to capture Travis in a moment where he removed his shirt and put his chest and back hair on display. In predictable fashion, the internet was abuzz with opinions about Kelce's body and hair, whose every move has become magnified further as a result of his relationship with Taylor Swift.
Body hair has also been a topic on the New Heights podcast, hosted by Travis Kelce and his brother Jason. Following the paparazzi pictures circulating online Travis addressed the swell of comments head on calling himself a "furry son of a b*tch" before adding that, “me and heat just don't do well together”.

Travis Kelce - The "Big Yeti"
In an older episode of the New Heights podcast, which aired in 2022, Jason broke down how exactly Travis earned the “Big Yeti” moniker in a hilarious interaction with his younger brother.
"When Trav was at Cincinnati, he would play basketball in the playground quite a bit. And anyone who has ever played pickup basketball, you know there's shirts and skins."
Right on queue, Travis Kelce chimed in and capped off the story, showing that he sees it as a comical nickname he’s willing to take in stride.
"Shirts and skins, dog, that's the only way to separate the teams. I had the big beard, I had the long hair. I had the chest hair, back hair, arm hair, leg hair. It's just a big ole Yeti out there, man. All the homies on the court were calling me 'Big Yeti.' "
The often jovial future Hall of Fame tight end has approached the upcoming NFL season with a rejuvenated sense of purpose, and his relatively quiet offseason reflects that change. This will likely be his last season as a pro athlete, and it’s clear that Travis is fully committing himself to the process wholeheartedly.
Travis Kelce seems to be poised for a transition to a career in entertainment when his playing days are over. He had a supporting acting role in last year’s TV hit Grotesquerie from Ryan Murphy, and also served as a producer on My Dead Friend Zoe, which was released on February 28.
