Delilah Belle Hamlin, daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, has gotten sober. In a recent episode of her parents’ Let’s Not Talk About the Husband podcast, which dropped on July 4, she opened up about this new phase of her life, one without the burden of substance abuse:
“I love being sober. I feel so ‘pick me’ when I’m like,‘I’m sober,’ but whatever. I love rehab. I love it.”
Delilah Belle Hamlin then elaborates on how she wound up in a place with herself where she ultimately had to seek out external help for solutions:
“It was more so I just felt so out of control of my own emotions. I was so depressed, I was so anxious. It wasn’t even me, like, being addicted, it was more so recognizing that I needed more help. I needed to do intense therapy. It was just, like, a self-realization and I just needed help — it was a cry for help. I called you guys one day like, ‘Hey, I think I need to go to rehab, I’m not quite sure what that is.’”

More about Delilah Belle Hamlin's Rehab journey
Delilah Belle Hamlin first went to rehab in February 2018. She first opened up about her experiences in recovery a year later in 2019. At the time, Delilah revealed that she had actually checked herself into a facility voluntarily shortly after enrolling as a student at NYU and had two stints, with the latter coming in June.
All these years later, she is comfortable in saying she has no regrets with how things played out:
“It was the best decision of my life.”
She also continued to highlight how the move was also of her own volition:
“No one forced me to go. I was like, ‘I wanna go.’ I’m so lucky that you guys could afford it at the time and help me through it. I love it.”
Accountability is a critical step in recovery, and she seems to be a great example for anyone currently struggling.
According to a report from Us Weekly, Delilah Belle Hamlin is open to working in the wellness/sobriety sector down the line as a way to give back, though she is currently focused on her modeling and music career.
