Brent Dawes and Phil Cunningham's animated biblical film, David, is nearing its release date, which is before Christmas, on December 19, and is a continuation of the miniseries called Young David, based on the Old Testament's Book of Samuel. It will follow the journey of the character of the same name, who is described in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament as the king of Israel and Judah.
The making of the film needed a lot of research, for which the team explored Israel. The places they visited there include Jerusalem, the Pool of Siloam, the Valley of Elah, and more.
Initially, it was said that Brandon Engman, the actor who voiced the title character in the story, would return as a part of the voice cast. However, the adult version will be voiced by another one.
