What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Sheila stood behind the bar at Il Giardino talking to Luna, who wasn't actually there. "Is it true, Luna? Remy says you've got a gun," she said. Sheila began flashing back to Luna lamenting about how Steffy was keeping Finn from both of them. That was when she suggested they get rid of Steffy. She also remembered Luna telling her she was "going out with a bang" as she said goodbye.
Sheila quickly called Finn and left another voicemail, and told him it was urgent. They needed to talk about Luna.
Steffy and Taylor continued to discuss the fortune teller that Hayes brought home from art school. Steffy was ready to head to the Spencer beach house right then and there to talk to Miss Dylan about Miss Sunshine. "No teacher should ever give this to a child or a child's parent," Steffy said of the fortune teller.
After Steffy left, Taylor sat alone with the fortune teller in her hands when Sheila knocked. Sheila begged Taylor to let her in, so Taylor finally relented. Sheila stressed that she had kept her distance, but she had to talk to Finn, and he wasn't responding to her voicemails. "I need to speak to Finn and Steffy. There's something they need to know about my granddaughter," Sheila insisted.
Sheila was surprised to hear that Luna had pulled a gun on Will. Luna had left that part out of her story. Sheila told Taylor about her biggest concern. "Luna said she had one more thing to do before she left town and that she was going to go out with a bang. She still has it out for your daughter for coming between her and Finn. I tried to get through to her, but she won't have it. That's why I need to speak to Finn. Steffy, too. Your daughter could be in danger," Sheila warned.
At the beach house, Luna continued to stare menacingly at Miss Dylan. The frightened young teacher asked what Luna planned to do to Steffy. She begged Luna not to hurt her or Steffy. Luna proceeded to tie Miss Dylan up and left her in a closet, gagged so she couldn't scream.
Steffy soon showed up and called out for Miss Dylan. She was stunned when Luna appeared. Luna locked the door and gave Steffy what could be considered a death stare. Steffy asked where Miss Dylan was. "Don't worry about her. She did her job. 'Something very important to discuss with you about Hayes,'" Luna said mockingly. "That's right, Steffy. My sweet little half-brother brought you here, and he is my half-brother, no matter how much you try to deny it. He's very talented too. Very creative."
Luna picked up a fortune teller, and Steffy realized that Luna was Miss Sunshine. As Steffy approached Luna, the deranged girl pulled out her gun. "You broke my heart. Keeping me away from my own father. That pain has to stop, and you're finally going to listen to me. You're going to let me see my father," Luna declared.
Grace and Finn met in his office to discuss Liam's case. Grace begged Finn to get through to Liam about doing the chemo and radiation because they were running out of time to extend Liam's life. "You have got to convince Liam to seek treatment right away," she said.
Finn reminded Grace that the treatment might be able to extend Liam's life, and it might not. Liam wasn't sure he wanted his last days to be spent sick from chemo. Grace wasn't convinced. "I just need you to impress on him how important this is. He lives in your guest house. You see him every day. Please, will you just talk to him? Don't let Liam put this off another day," she said.
Grace was forced to tell Finn that Liam's tumor had grown. "That's why time is of the essence. We can't give Liam more time if he does nothing," Grace insisted.
Grace then got a phone call and whispered that she couldn't talk at the moment. Finn asked if everything was all right. Grace assured him everything was fine and proceeded to talk about Liam some more. When she got another text, Finn could tell Grace was upset about something and asked her to take some time for herself.
"I've heard the stories, and you and your family have been through a lot, so if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here," Finn offered.
Liam stopped by the design office to drop off Beth's stuffed unicorn. Hope asked how Liam was doing. "I'm okay. Time with the kid is the best medicine for me right now," he said. "Clocks tickin' and our daughter's smart. Pretty soon she's gonna put two and two together..."
"I'm having a hard time accepting that you might not be here for long," Hope said. Liam told Hope that he was still there, but Hope asked him not to make light of things. "Eric managed to beat the odds, so why can't you? Why can't there be another miracle?" Hope asked.
Liam told Hope that he was spending his time just the way he wanted to, with Beth, Kelly, and his ex-wives. "Except that we aren't the only ones in your life, Liam. You have brothers. You have a father, and while Bill and I haven't exactly seen eye to eye on some things, he does love you," Hope pointed out. "Do you think it's time to tell them? To have that conversation with Bill and Wyatt and Will? Because they are your family."
Liam asked Hope if she thought he was being selfish. She said no, because she knew his heart. "You're trying to protect the people you love most, but you're protecting them from a reality they need to know," Hope added. Just then, Liam's alarm went off to remind him to take his medication. Liam assured Hope he always took them consistently because he wanted as much time as he could get.
Liam changed the subject and told Hope all about what happened with Luna and Will. "She somehow escaped before the police could apprehend her," Liam said. "Poor Steffy, Luna's still on the loose," was all Hope could manage. "This is why I'm so determined to make sure that everyone I love and care about is safe," Liam lamented.
