At art school, Luna suggested to Hayes that they make his mom an origami gift that she'd never forget. Luna taught the entire class how to make fortune tellers. She told Hayes they were going to put messages inside for his mom.

When class was over, Ms. Dylan asked Luna to stay to meet the parents, but she said she had an appointment. However, she did make sure to say a special goodbye to Hayes, which Ms. Dylan didn't find to be unusual at all. Hayes assured "Ms. Sunshine" that he would show the fortune teller to Steffy.

Steffy asked Taylor if she had a date in mind for her latest wedding to Ridge, but was disappointed when her mom said she'd think about it when things were a little less crazy with Luna.

"Maybe having a wedding in the middle of all this craziness is exactly what our family needs," Steffy said.

Taylor wanted to see the kids, so Steffy rattled off their list of activities, noting it was good that Kelly and Hayes could have a normal routine. "It definitely keeps me sane, knowing that the kids are safe and having fun," Steffy smiled. "That's how it should be, kids being kids. Nowhere near the dangers of Luna."

When Hayes returned home, he told Steffy all about the present that Ms. Sunshine helped him make. Steffy didn't even know a Ms. Sunshine existed. Hayes gave Steffy the fortune teller. He told Steffy he did the folding, but Ms. Sunshine wrote the fortunes.

Taylor thought it was unusual that the fortunes were drawings and not words. The first fortune was a drawing of the sun, the second was a crescent moon, the third was a bright red broken heart, and the fourth was a picture that looked like a dead woman. Steffy thought she should have a talk with Hayes' teacher.

Oddly enough, Ms. Dylan called Steffy before Steffy could call her. She told Steffy that there was something she needed to talk to her about. Steffy mentioned the fortune teller and how strange it was. "There was some inappropriate message in it. And Hayes also talked about a new teacher," Steffy said.

A nervous Ms. Dylan asked Steffy if they could talk in person, so Steffy agreed to meet her at the beach house art school. When Ms. Dylan turned around, Ms. Sunshine was sitting in a chair, casually waving her gun around. "Good job," Luna told the terrified teacher.

At Il Giardino, Remy showed Sheila the origami fortune teller that Luna had made for him. Remy couldn't understand why Luna had just disappeared. Sheila told him that Luna has had a lot on her mind. "Yeah, I know. That's exactly why I'm worried. And you clearly are, too," Remy said.

Remy let Sheila know that Luna told him her entire bizarre family story. Sheila claimed it was unusual, but not bizarre. "Your son never knew that you were his birth mother. His daughter never knew him. A daughter he had with his adoptive aunt. Yeah, I'm sticking with bizarre," Remy said.

Sheila claimed that they loved one another, despite the unique family dynamic. Remy wondered where the love was since Luna was so desperate for her dad's love, "but his wife won't allow it."

Sheila defended Steffy, saying she had been through a lot. "I'd love to have a normal relationship with my daughter-in-law, but I understand why that wouldn't be so easy for her," Sheila remarked. When Sheila told Remy that Luna had locked Steffy in a cage, Remy understood Steffy a bit more.

Still, Sheila thought that Steffy didn't understand what it was like to be emotionally abandoned by her parents, so she didn't know what Luna was going through. She then told a shocked Remy that Luna was leaving Los Angeles.

"If she were staying here, it would do so much good for me, but I think the change in scenery is going to be good for her," Sheila said. She then asked Remy why he was concerned about Luna.

Remy hemmed and hawed a bit, but Sheila finally got him to tell her that he had run into Luna at the shooting range. Sheila was immediately alarmed to know that Luna had a gun, although Remy told Sheila that Luna wasn't a very good shot. She remembered Luna telling her, "At least I'm going out with a bang."

Remy did not tell Sheila that Luna was using a picture of Steffy for target practice, but Sheila was still quite concerned.
