The Bold and the Beautiful Daily YAPP Recap, December 12: Lope gets married, Thope is BACK!

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Yesterday, we said that Hope and Liam only got married for Beth's sake and we are standing with that assertion. There was nothing romantic about Hope and Liam's reunion, which felt forced, rushed, and unbelievably out of the blue. We didn't see Liam court Hope again. We just saw her relieved that Liam was going to live before deciding to reunite with him because it was what Beth was begging for. Even their wedding was all about the kids and not about them. That meant this was not a great love story, but we hoped beyond hope (pun intended?) that this would lead to a great love triangle and now it looks like it will. When we saw that Douglas was back, we recalled that snap of Matthew Atkinson on The Bold and the Beautiful set a while back and wanted him to walk into the reception. While that particular wish didn't come true, the previews show Thomas back next week and Hope not wanting him to design for Hope For The Future because she is uncomfortable about working with him. Yes, because Hope knows darn well that if she is in close proximity to Thomas again, it will be, "Liam who?" Thomas and Hope were a long time coming in 2023 and had some unresolved issues in 2024. May the end of 2025 and the start of 2025 be the start of something new for Thope.
