Maitland Ward, who played ingenue Jessica Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful from 1994 to 1996, is also known for her work on Boy Meets World and the movie White Chicks. The actress recently hit the comic con circuit and was named Top-Grossing Mainstream Star at Regional Comic Cons in June.

"So much love to everyone who came out to see me this weekend," Ward shared on Instagram. "Getting back into character with @annedudek reminded me why this film still means so much — to you, and to me ❤️ #WhiteChicksForever."

The actress attended her share of B&B fan events back when she appeared on the half-hour soap. Recently, she hit the comic con scene on the East Coast. According to Ward's rep, she has "officially ranked as the top-grossing mainstream star nationally across all regional comic cons in June 2025."

Ward appeared at the Garden State Comic Fest in West Orange, New Jersey, where she reunited with White Chicks co-star Anne Dudek for the first time since the film’s 2004 release. Ward and Dudek played sisters Brittany and Tiffany Wilson in the comedy classic. After kidnapping targets Brittany and Tiffany suffered some minor facial injuries (and refused to be seen in public), their personas were adopted by lawmen Kevin Copeland (Shawn Wayans) and Marcus Anthony II (Marlon Wayans) courtesy of prosthetics and makeup.

Ward grossed from her comic con appearances nearly $20,000 from photo ops, merchandise, and autograph sales, according to regional event data. "It’s really meaningful to be recognized in this way, especially among so many talented people who’ve built such strong connections with their fans,” Ward said. “I’ve worked across a lot of different spaces, and to see that it resonates with people, and to connect with them in person, that’s what makes these events so special.”

The Bold and the Beautiful Bikini Bar days

Ward's storyline on B&B had Forrester design intern Dylan Shaw (Dylan Neal) bedding Jessica's mother Maggie Forrester (Barbara Crampton), but Jessica was the woman he loved. Bad boy Sly (Brent Jasmer) wanted to impregnate her so he could get his hands on the Forrester millions. Dylan ended up saving Jessica from a fiery end after Sly went off the deep end and set the Bikini bar on fire.

Jessica ended up going abroad to continue her studies. While she hasn't been seen on The Bold and the Beautiful since, viewers have met her father, John Forrester (the late Fred Willard), half-sister Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer), and niece Electra (Laneya Grace).

Ward chronicled her life in show business in the 2024 tome My Escape From Hollywood.
