What’s Happening in To Your Eternity Season 3?

To Your Eternity season 3 is adapting the Second Act of Yoshitoki Ōima’s manga, also called the New World Arc and Mimori Arc. The New World Arc covers chapters 117 to 129.2 and happens five centuries after the Renril Arc. The Mimori Arc covers chapters 130 to 138. This is not the end of the show, so there is a possibility of another season after this one.

After everything Fushi went through in the first two seasons, from loss, friendship, and Nokkers to heartbreak, you’d think he’d get a break. Nope. This time, he’s in modern-day Japan, dealing with culture shock (smartphones and bubble tea are apparently harder to process than Nokkers) and a mysterious girl named Mizuha, who has ties to his past.

Mizuha is a student at Minamoto Junior High School. Turns out that she is the seventh successor to the Guardian’s cult that worships Fushi. She is also Hayase’s sixth reincarnation.

There are also a lot of new characters that will be introduced in the show. We meet Izumi, Mizuha’s mother, and Satoru, the human reincarnation of the Beholder. Other characters include Kazumitsu, Yuki, Aiko Aoki, Hanna, Funa, and Sumika.

The Nokkers are also back. This time, they come back with the claim of wanting peace with humans. It’s a bold change of pace, but if Episode 1 was any hint, To Your Eternity season 3 is swinging big.
