Though Hina initially refused, Haruto remained adamant, explaining how the charm was to help him gain victory against Taiki in the National Qualifiers. Though Hina did not give an answer, she seemed to resonate with his determination.

Later, Taiki and Kyo were talking about a class presentation they would have to give on Kyoto, which would revolve around the Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. The scene then shifted to Ayame, who was busy with her duties as a manager and had gone to fetch a sewing kit to stitch up the torn pants of a player.

On her way, she ran into her ex-boyfriend, who made fun of her dedication to the badminton team and even invited her to hang out again. Ayame fumingly shouted that she had a boyfriend, proudly standing by the changes she had undergone. Shortly after, Ayame ran into her boyfriend Shota's friend.

Just as he had advised Shota in the last chapter to be more honest with Ayame, he now spoke directly to her, sharing how her free-spirited nature around boys may be inconsiderate towards her boyfriend. Ayame took this to heart, as she returned to the gym and tossed the sewing kit, telling the player to mend his own pants.

While carrying a heavy container, she ran into Taiki, who offered to ease her burden but was turned down. Ayame asked Taiki about how long he had liked Chinatsu and was shocked to find it had been nearly four years. She then spoke about her own relationship with Shota, where they had been going out for nearly 4 months.

Ayame explained how he was different from all her previous boyfriends and that she wished to create a relationship she could treasure, similar to what her sister had. As Ayame was voicing her beliefs, Taiki glanced over at Kyo, who was busy practicing. That night, Chinatsu sent a photo of the food she had cooked for dinner to Taiki, proud of her accomplishment.

Her boyfriend replied, saying that it looked delicious and he wished for her to make it for him sometime. Right when Chinatsu was beaming with happiness, she received a message from her intercom, where her neighbor was trying to introduce themselves. However, Blue Box never revealed who this mystery individual was.

The chapter ends with Taiki setting off for his journey to Kyoto in the morning, carrying his trip itinerary and having received an uplifting message from Chinatsu. Joined by Kyo, Ayame, Hina, Shota, and others, the cast begins their school trip.
